Kathmandu was a Kingdom where feudalism ruled, until King Prithvi Narayan Shah unified the nation of Nepal. Added to this will be an electrifying rafting escapade in Trishuli River and the blitz into Nepal’s exotic wildlife at the Chitwan National Park.
After this trip in wild, you will drive to a beautiful scenic lake town where nature is amplified with the views of majestic peaks almost at touching distance, clean water lakes with pleasant boating at your service. Return to Kathmandu valley and visit Nagarkot for incredible sunset and sunrise views, with the Himalayan vistas. End the tour with visits to Patan and Bhaktapur cities that highlight Nepal’s medieval architectural grandeur.

Upon arrival at the international airport in Kathmandu (1300M) you will be received by our representative at the arrival gate and will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
The second morning after your breakfast, we start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual places in Kathmandu valley. The tour covers UNESCO World Heritage Sites including historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath (Buddhist Shrine, also called monkey temple), Boudhanath (the Largest Stupa in the World), and Pashupatinath (Hindu’s holiest pilgrimage site).
Patan, is one of the major cities of Nepal and is best known for its rich cultural heritage, in particular its tradition of arts and crafts. After heritage sightseeing, you will meet your trekking guide for briefing to help for final preparation of the trek. Overnight at hotel.
You will be driven to Charaudi early in the morning. After 3 hours’ drive, you arrive in Charaudi, the starting point of rafting in Trishuli River. Under the guidance of a river guide, you venture into a river trip up to Kurintar. Rafting along the exciting rapids of Trisuli River, which can be mined blowing experiences. During this meticulously organized river trip, you journey through alpine scenery and amazing rapids cutting through some of the most varied geology. After the day’s activity you will be driven to Chitwan. Overnight stay in Chitwan.
Early in the morning, we will be mounted on elephant backs for a jungle safari through dense grasslands to witness wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, we visit the elephant stables and even enjoy bathing elephants. During the afternoon we can drive through the jungles followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. While canoeing, we may get a close look at the Gharial and Mugger crocodiles along with fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds. Or, we may even go for birding or nature walks and come closer to variety of wild flora and fauna. Overnight stay in Chitwan.
We leave Chitwan for Pokhara, also known as the city of lakes. The road first passes through the subtropical jungles and fertile vegetation in Chitwan. Further ahead, we see hills, small settlements and terraced farming. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. Rest of the day, we take rest or walk around the city.
At around 10 in the morning, we take a drive to Naudanda from where we hike to Sarangkot. It is an easy trekking path along hill-ridge to the dense settlement with mixed ethnic groups. The view of snowcapped mountains is fantastic and the view of Pokhara valley is splendor. We drive back to Pokhara after you have graze the view of sunset on Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges.
After breakfast we have sightseeing around Pokhara valley. You are free in Pokhara Valley which is also known as “magic Land’ or “Dreamland” of Nepal, to explore the various interesting places like boating in Fewa Lake, overlooking the Annapurna Areas, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave and some temples. After lunch, you are free to shop for souvenirs or rest. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
After breakfast, we leave for Kathmandu. This will be a journey along river banks with wonderful views of hills and rural Nepali lifestyle. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we continue our drive to Nagarkot, a village within the Kathmandu valley renowned for its sunrise and surest views of the Himalayas. After reaching Nagarkot, we enjoy the viewpoint’s cool breeze and watch sunset amidst the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
Early in the morning, we enjoy amazing views of the sunrise from Nagarkot. After breakfast we drive downhill to Bhaktapur.
Bhaktapur is a cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient Newar city is 15 km east of Kathmandu within the valley. The 55 window palace, golden gate, Lion’s gate, Taleju temple, Mini Pashupatinath temple, Vatsala temple, Nyatapola temple, Bhairavnath temple, sculptures, statues etc. are the major attractions of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur city is also considered as an open museum of medieval art and architecture, with fine examples of sculptures, wood carving and pagoda temples dedicated to many Hindu gods and goddesses.
Today, our adventure in Nepal comes to an end. A representative from Rainbow Adventures will take you to the airport for onwards journey.
