Kathmandu city: Previously known as Kantipur, Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. A 218 square miles of land, situated above 4,400 ft above sea level, Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal’s traditional culture and arts.
Nagarkot: Nagarkot is a village located about 32 km east of Kathmandu city. It is located on the north-eastern rim of the Kathmandu valley, at an elevation of 6,800 feet above sea level. It is one of the most scenic spot in the region, renowned for its sunrise and sunset views amid the Himalayas.
Pokhara City: Pokhara is the most popular destination for visitor to Nepal. In ancient and medieval times, Pokhara was along the route of trade between India and Tibet. Today it is one of the fastest developing cities of Nepal, mainly due to tourism. The natural beauty of its lakeside location and its proximity to the mountains has made it the natural choice for trekkers and adventures.

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Rainbow Adventures will heartily welcome you. After completing your custom formalities (Visa etc.), our representatives will pick up your luggage, Just look for our representative with a Rainbow Adventures and your name on display board at the arrival gate. You will be transferred to your hotel. If the time persists, you can either visit the city or relax at the hotel.
We start our guided tour to several of the historical and spiritual places in Kathmandu valley. The tour covers UNESCO World Heritage Sites including historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath (Buddhist Shrine), Boudhanath (the Largest Stupa in the World), and Pashupatinath (Hindu’s holiest pilgrimage site). Patan, which is also known as a city of fine arts, is one of the major cities of Nepal and is best known for its rich cultural heritage, particularly its tradition of arts and crafts. Towards the end of the day, we visit Nagarkot, a village
in Bhaktapur which sits at 7,200 ft. and boasts stunning Himalayan vistas. It is also renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas.
After breakfast, we will drive from Nagarkot to Kathmandu to take a flight to Pokhara. Flight to Pokhara is spectacular with Himalayan views all along its route. You can enjoy the ambiance of Pokhara in the natural settings with towering Himalayas in the backdrop. Visit David fall and Tibetan Refugee Camp, explore Lakeside market and Phewa Lake boating in the evening to catch the reflection of Himalayas on the Phewa Lake.
Pokhara is famous for its lakes and its amazing views of the Annapurna Himalayan range. In early morning, we drive some 30 minutes to reach Sarangkot from here. You can see the very panoramic view of the mountains, truly a photographer’s paradise. In Pokhara, you will visit the Gurung Museum, David fall, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Mahendra Cave, Barahi temple etc.
After breakfast we will drive to the Pokhara Airport and take a flight back to Kathmandu. After checking in to the hotel you will have free time in the afternoon, and in the evening, for either shopping or simply going around the city.
Rainbow Adventures representative will escort you to the airport for your scheduled flights for onward journey.
