Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu – 1,300m/4264 ft.

Upon arrival at the international airport in Kathmandu (1300M) you will be received by our representative at the arrival gate and will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02Kathmandu, Patan sightseeing and trekking preparation in Kathmandu (1,300m)

The second morning after your breakfast, we start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual places in Kathmandu valley. The tour covers UNESCO World Heritage Sites including historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath (Buddhist Shrine, also called monkey temple), Boudhanath (the Largest Stupa in the World), and Pashupatinath (Hindu’s holiest pilgrimage site).
Patan, is one of the major cities of Nepal and is best known for its rich cultural heritage, in particular its tradition of arts and crafts. After heritage sightseeing, you will meet your trekking guide for briefing to help for final preparation of the trek. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (823m.2, 700 ft.): 5-6 hrs.

Early in the morning we leave for Pokhara by tourist bus, enjoying beautiful Nepali countryside along the way. Sightseeing around the city and Lakeside is a bonus here. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 04Fly to Jomsom (2,720m) and trek to Kagbeni (2,800m): about 4 hrs

Early in the morning, you will take a short and scenic flight to Jomsom. The headquarters of Mustang district Jomsom is the starting and ending point of Jomsom trekking. Trek starts and goes through Kali Gandaki valley to the north. The trail follows to Kagbeni, a green oasis at the junction of the Jhong Khola and Kali Gandaki River. You have time for exploring the area around after refreshment. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 05Trek to Muktinath (3,760m): 4-5 hrs

The trail starts at steep climb to the Jhong valley which joins the major trail to the Muktinath. The walk from Khingar to Jharkot is a delightful along meadows, streams fruit trees. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 06Trek to Marpha (2,660m): 4 hrs

In the beginning the trek is easy trek down to the valley floor. The descent is through a dramatic, arid landscape all the way to Eklai Bhatti. Trek onwards to Jomsom and further to Marpha village. This is very windy path in the afternoon, so it is wise to cross this trail before noon. We can explore Marpha village which has a big Monastery, an apple brandy factory, and of course, its local culture. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 07Trek to Kalopani (2,530m): 4-5 hrs

The trail along the Kali Gandaki River offers a nice view of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountains. After crossing the Tukuche village we will be able to see one of the famous Dhaulagiri Icefall. We walk through the Largung and Kobang village on the flat route all the way to Kalopani. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 08Trek to Tatopani (1,200m): 5-6 hrs

We skip the blacktopped road and trek through the route to Tatopani from Kalopani. The trail smoothly descends till we cross the bridge at Ghasa. As we trek to lower elevation, we emerge back into sub-tropical forests. The journey is smoothly downhill to Rupse Chhahara. The trial again descends slightly to Tatopani. Upon reaching Tatopani, we relax and have a bath in the hot spring. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 09Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m): 5-6 hrs

After spending wonderful day bathing in the hot spring, we walk down before crossing a suspension bridge over the Kali Gandaki River. We take the left uphill climb. The climb is steep to the top. Passing through terraced fields and dense rhododendron forests we reach Ghorepani. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 10Trek to Tadapani (2,710m): 5-6 hrs

YEarly in the morning we ascend to Poon hill (3,210m) to catch the spectacular sunrise view over the whole Annapurna, Dhaulagiri massif, including Machhapuchhre and Manaslu. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 11Tadapani – Ghandruk – Pokhara (850m) 1.5 hr drive

The trail leads all the way down through rhododendron forest to Ghandruk. This is the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal. After lunch we continue trekking to Nayapul to complete the trek which is followed by a short bus ride back to Pokhara. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 12Pokhara City Tour

After breakfast, we go sightseeing around Pokhara city. Also known as a ‘magic Land’ or ‘Dreamland’ of Nepal, Pokhara has a number of natural beauty, such as, boating in Fewa Lake, Davis Falls, Mehendra Cave and some Hindu temples. After lunch you are free to shop for souvenirs or rest. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 13Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,300m) or trip extensions by adding optional activities.

You have the option today to extend your program. There are many fun and exciting adventures, like paragliding, white water rafting and a wildlife safari in Chitwan National park. If you choice to return to Kathmandu the drive passes through the picturesque countryside, we will stop for breakfast and lunch. It takes 7 hours to return to Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14Kathmandu departure.

Drive to airport to board for onward journey flight.
