Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Kande, Trek from Kande to Australian Camp (2,100m | 1.5–2 hrs)

After breakfast in Pokhara, you drive from Pokhara to Kande by private vehicle, enjoying scenic hillside roads and views over the Pokhara Valley. Upon reaching Kande, the trek begins with a gentle uphill walk through lush forests and stone staircases. The trail is well maintained and easy, making it suitable for beginners and families.

As you ascend, the scenery gradually opens up to terraced farmland and forested slopes. After a short and pleasant hike, you arrive at Australian Camp, a peaceful hilltop viewpoint famous for its wide Himalayan panoramas. In the afternoon, you may take a short walk to nearby Pothana village to experience local Gurung culture and traditional village life while enjoying sunset views over the Annapurna range.

Day 02: Trek from Australian Camp to Phedi via Dhampus, Drive from Phedi to Pokhara (1,130m | 4–5 hrs)

Early in the morning, enjoy sunrise views from Australian Camp with clear panoramas of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and surrounding peaks. After breakfast, begin a downhill trek from Australian Camp to Dhampus, a beautiful Gurung village known for stone houses, terraced fields, and mountain views.

From Dhampus, the trail continues descending through forests and farmland toward Phedi. The final section includes a long stone staircase, offering a sense of adventure and rewarding views along the way. Upon reaching Phedi, you drive from Phedi to Pokhara by private vehicle, marking the end of your short but memorable Himalayan trekking experience.
