Seti River Rafting is a scenic and adventurous day-trip rafting experience, best enjoyed during the monsoon season when water levels are high and the river becomes exciting and dynamic. Flowing through deep gorges, lush jungle corridors, and traditional villages, the Seti River offers a unique rafting experience with dramatic limestone cliffs and warm water.
This rafting trip starts from Damauli and ends at Gaighat, covering a beautiful stretch of the river that is only runnable during high-water months (June, July & August). Itinerary
Day 01: Drive to Damauli – Raft to Gaighat (5–6 hrs total)
Early in the morning, Rainbow Adventure & Travel will arrange your pickup and drive to Damauli, the starting point of Seti River rafting. The drive follows scenic highways and countryside landscapes, offering beautiful views of rivers, farmland, and hills.
Upon arrival at Damauli, our rafting crew prepares all equipment while you change into rafting gear. A detailed safety briefing is conducted by our professional river guide, covering paddling techniques, safety commands, and rescue procedures. Once ready, you begin rafting downstream on the Seti River.
During the monsoon season, the river flows strongly, creating exciting Class III–IV rapids balanced by calmer sections to rest and enjoy the surroundings. The rafting route passes through dramatic gorges, dense vegetation, and remote riverbanks that feel untouched and wild. After approximately 32 km of rafting, the trip ends at Gaighat.
A freshly prepared riverside lunch is served at the end point. After lunch, the trip concludes with onward drive arrangements to Pokhara or Kathmandu, as per your travel plan.
