Itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi – Kayak to Kuringhat – Drive to Kathmandu / Pokhara / Chitwan (5–6 hrs kayaking)
Early in the morning, your Rainbow Adventure & Travel guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu and drive toward Charaudi, the starting point of the Trishuli River kayaking section. The drive follows a scenic highway along rivers, green hills, and rural settlements.
Upon arrival at Charaudi, we spend about 30 minutes setting up kayaking equipment. If you haven’t completed the pre-departure form, it will be done here. You are advised to change into comfortable, water-friendly clothing. Before entering the river, your instructor will conduct a detailed safety briefing (approx. 20 minutes) covering paddling techniques, river signals, self-rescue methods, and safety procedures.
Once on the river, you’ll paddle through a mix of fun rapids and calm sections, ideal for building confidence. The Trishuli River offers impressive gorges, unique rock formations, riverside villages, and chances to spot native and migratory birds. In selected safe sections, you’ll be allowed to swim in the river or try cliff jumping, making the experience even more adventurous.
After 5 to 6 hours of kayaking, the trip ends at Kuringhat. Here, you’ll enjoy a fresh riverside lunch with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options including bread, cheese, tuna, salad, fruits, and biscuits. Around 3:00 PM, we depart by vehicle for Kathmandu OR Pokhara OR Chitwan (to and from, as per your travel plan).
