Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,345m)
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu at any time. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our airport representative and transferred from airport to hotel in a private vehicle. After check-in, you can relax from your international flight or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, you will receive a short briefing about the trek and climbing program.
Day 02: Trek and Climbing Preparation Day in Kathmandu
This day is reserved for trek and peak climbing preparation. You will meet your trekking and climbing guides, check personal and group equipment, complete paperwork, and finalize permits. If needed, you can rent or purchase trekking and climbing gear in Thamel. This preparation day ensures safety and confidence for the adventure ahead.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla – Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2,652m | 3–4 hrs)
Early morning transfer from hotel to airport, followed by a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The flight itself is a thrilling Himalayan experience. After landing at Lukla, the trek begins through green landscapes, prayer wheels, and Mani walls, following the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding with beautiful views of Kusum Kanguru.
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m | 5–6 hrs)
The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and passing through Sherpa villages. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, a steep ascent brings you to Namche Bazaar, the bustling trading hub of the Everest region. On a clear day, you will get your first glimpse of Mount Everest.
Day 05: Acclimatization Day – Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m | 3–4 hrs)
This day is dedicated to acclimatization. You will hike from Namche Bazaar to Everest View Hotel, enjoying panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. On the return, visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery. The “climb high, sleep low” strategy helps your body adapt to altitude.
Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m | 5 hrs)
The trail offers stunning mountain scenery with gradual ups and downs. After descending to Phunki Tenga, you climb through forests to Tengboche Monastery, the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. The monastery sits in a spectacular setting surrounded by Himalayan giants.
Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m | 5 hrs)
Descending through rhododendron forests, the trail crosses the Imja Khola and passes Pangboche village. The landscape gradually becomes alpine as you reach Dingboche, known as the “summer valley,” surrounded by stone-walled fields and high peaks.
Day 08: Acclimatization Hike – Dingboche to Nagarjun (5,100m) and Return (6 hrs)
A physically demanding acclimatization hike following the “climb high, sleep low” principle. The steep ascent rewards you with dramatic views of Lobuche East, Ama Dablam, Makalu, and the Pheriche Valley. After reaching the viewpoint, descend back to Dingboche for rest.
Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m | 5 hrs)
The trail follows a broad glacial valley, passing the Himalayan Rescue Association post at Pheriche. You continue uphill to Dughla and climb to memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The day ends at Lobuche amid a stark high-altitude landscape.
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and Back to Gorakshep (8 hrs)
Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep, then continue to Everest Base Camp. The trail crosses rocky moraine and glacial terrain. Standing at Everest Base Camp, beneath the Khumbu Icefall, is a powerful and unforgettable experience. After exploration, return to Gorakshep.
Day 11: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) – Trek to Lobuche Base Camp (6 hrs)
Early morning hike from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar, the best viewpoint of Mount Everest. After breakfast back at Gorakshep, descend and trek to Lobuche Peak Base Camp. In the afternoon, receive pre-climb training from climbing guides on using ropes, crampons, harnesses, and ice axes.
Day 12: Summit Lobuche East Peak (6,119m) – Trek to Pheriche (10–12 hrs)
An early alpine start for the summit push. The climb involves snow and ice sections using fixed ropes. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori, and Makalu. After a successful ascent, descend carefully to Pheriche.
Day 13: Contingency / Reserve Day
This spare day is reserved for bad weather, acclimatization issues, or delayed summit attempts. If everything goes smoothly, this day can be used for rest or extra exploration.
Day 14: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m | 7 hrs)
The return journey follows the familiar trail through Tengboche and lush forests. With descending altitude, the trek feels easier and more comfortable as you return to Namche Bazaar.
Day 15: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m | 7 hrs)
The final trekking day follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges and passing villages. Celebrate the successful completion of your Everest and Lobuche Peak adventure in Lukla.
Day 16: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Morning scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, followed by private transfer from airport to hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Day 17: Leisure Day in Kathmandu
Free day to rest, shop, or explore Kathmandu Valley at your own pace.
Day 18: Final Departure from Kathmandu / Trip Extension
Optional trip extensions available such as Chitwan jungle safari, Pokhara sightseeing, Lumbini tour, mountain flight, or Nagarkot sunrise stay.
