Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Budhanilkantha, Hike from Budhanilkantha to Shivapuri Viewpoint, Drive back to Kathmandu
You begin with a short drive from Kathmandu to Budhanilkantha. After completing park entry formalities, the hike starts on a steady uphill forest trail. The path passes through dense woodland, flowing streams, and quiet surroundings rich in flora and fauna.
As you gain elevation, the air becomes cooler and fresher. Reaching Shivapuri Viewpoint, you can relax, enjoy packed lunch, and take in views over the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding hills. After a short rest, you descend along the same route and drive back to Kathmandu.
